Google Reviews

Reviews have always been around for quite a while now and it’s obvious how dominant they are. As a matter of fact, positive reviews have made nearly 70% of consumers trust local businesses more and more. Do not wake up and expect the reviews to stream in.

If you’ve possibly come up with a traumatically stunning business, people still need a humane push towards the review section. Push reviews actively because if you do not ask, you won’t definitely get.

Streaming in those positive reviews isn’t sufficient. It’s equally good practice to timely respond to reviews, whether they’re negative or positive.

Google Posts

Another feature of Google My Business that has been leveraged below the optimum level is the Google Posts feature and this works similarly to posting content on social media. Posts created are shown as mini updates in a merry-go-round as part of your proficiency panel, even though they expire within a 7-day period.

It’s constantly an awesome idea to add an image but do it carefully while cropping them within Google Maps. It’s therefore worth finding out how the image features on both mobile and desktop.

Google Posts can be leveraged for a myriad of different uses, but it’s sometimes useful to utilize the validated post types as a guide: Products, Events, What’s New, and Offers. You could get the “What’s New” post type populated with exhilarating overall updates, announcements, and your latest posts. Remember to include a CTA in your posts to allow engagement and conversions.

Google Posts are eminent in Google Search. Thus, if you’ve got an idea to pass across, don’t hesitate to pronounce it.

Thanks Israel,
I have a local website and implemented this today. It was quite useful. There is a whole new section called "website" which gives users a free ".business.site" website. I will see how useful this is in the SERP's.
I was helping a friend do the same, she has a .com website in this niche and we both setup a ".business.site" to link to our back office online stores, hopefully we can get both of hers on page 1 of Google

Hey Claudio, thanks for leaving a thought! Yes, once you can make your information relevant enough (Local SEO) to satisfy user's intent, you're going to have your business presented first in search results or featured in snippets for users who need the information. Thanks for reading!

Thanks for dropping by, Joseph! Glad you found the training helpful and useful! You can search as explained in the tutorial if an existing Google My Business (GMB) account has been created for you before. Once you've confirmed, verify the business name if that hasn't been done yet for you.

Hey Helen, kudos to you for taking the time to read this training piece! I think you'd do well by having a change of internet connectivity and try again to stop being eluded by the bots. Thanks for contributing!
