2. The size of the featured image for each post can be too big:

Each post has a feature image that shows in the blog roll. If you are not careful you could upload images of different sizes and this would affect the appearance of your blog roll. Take a look at the picture below.

We would like all the Featured Images with the same size. But there is also something to take into consideration. When you open your post, the Featured image could be too big and not allow the text to be visible at first sight. Take a look at the picture below.

To start reading the post you have to scroll down and then you are able to see the test. This seems simple but because of the importance of content, we want our texts to appear from the very moment we open our posts.

To archive this, I have standardized that all images that are placed as “Featured Images” are cropped at 525 x 150.

So this guarantees all images have the same dimensions on the blog roll and when you open a post you see the image but you also see the text without scrolling down.

I got the fonts plugin. Easy. Your instructions were very clear. Now, I don't quite understand how to reduce the size of my header. It does need it! Could you explain again? Thanks.

Hello. Thank you very much for your kind words about the instructions for installing the font plugin. Concerning the header’s size: Do you mean the header of a post or the header of your entire site? I'd love to help. :)

The header of my entire site. I'd like to crop the picture a bit, so it doesn't take up quite so much room.

Hi! You should resize the picture and then upload it again. Here is an easy training to do that. Take a look at the resize section:

Hi Henry

Thank you very much for this training!

On page 2 - the last picture - where you show the 2 additional items that is added by the Plugin (Georgia and Size 12)... Just above that is a row of icons - strikethrough, symbols etc. Is that row also added by the Plugin or is it from your Theme?

I'm excited to go try that plugin immediately - thank you for the thorough explanation!

Hello, Sharlee! :)

Thank you very much for your kind words. I greatly appreciate them! :)

On page 2, besides font type and size (Georgia and Size 12), this plugin also adds that row of icons that are very useful. It’s kind of a Bonus. :)

This is a very convenient plugin and I am eager to hear from you once you have tried this plugin on your site.
All the best! :)

Hi Henry

Just some feedback on this plugin. Thank you - I love it. It provides all that I need - enough fonts to have a good choice, but not too many so that I spend hours trying to make a decision. It suits me perfect - thank you for the recommendation!

Wishing you all the best!

Good training Henry. Myself I don't print to be that small. I find it hard and stressful to work with.
