So now I’m going to explain why these things I don’t like are important. And how I managed to solve them.
1.) Text size in pages and posts:
I believe content is the most important thing in your site. You want to make content engaging and your principal goal is to get people read your pages and posts. That is why you always try to present your content in the easiest way for your visitors to read. That is why it is recommended to have content written with black letters and a white background. That is why you always set your images to the right so that they don’t break the natural flow of reading. So, being your content so important, one of the things I don’t like about the Fashify theme is that texts are super small by default in pages and posts. You can take a look at an example below.
To solve this, I found a PlugIn called “Fonts” (plural). I’ll explain how to download and activate this PlugIn:
1.1. Go to https://wordpress.org/plugins/fonts/ and click “Download”.
1.2. Then once you have downloaded this file (fonts.zip) you must go to the back office of WordPress and click on “PlugIns”.
1.3. Click “Add New”.
1.4. Click “Upload PlugIn”.
1.5. And uploaded "fronts.zip" there. Then Click “Install Now”.
1.6. Click “Activate PlugIn”
1.7. Then you can go and edit your pages or posts. Open a page or a post and you will find two new drop down menus. One is called “Family Fonts” and the other “Font sizes”. With these you can edit the type of text and the size. So your pages and posts will be easier for your visitors to read once they have the correct text size.
Thank you very much for this training!
On page 2 - the last picture - where you show the 2 additional items that is added by the Plugin (Georgia and Size 12)... Just above that is a row of icons - strikethrough, symbols etc. Is that row also added by the Plugin or is it from your Theme?
I'm excited to go try that plugin immediately - thank you for the thorough explanation!
