We are all dreamers. Our day dreams place us in favorable places under comfortable circumstances. My shop teacher in junior high school always had dreams of a large red convertible. He said that when he got it and saw us on the street, “I’m going to spit in your eye.”

The gurus know we have these visions of grandeur. They know that such visions are best seen from despair. So they give us that old cock and bull story that they were in the depths of depression after losing all they had when they suddenly found the “Secret of Making Millions on the Internet.”

I think that is one of the reasons that those who come to WAU for the first time expect to find an exact recipe for success. All they have to do is stand back and wait for everything good in the world to come floating into their harbor.

That just doesn’t happen.

The first goal of some of those who come here is to try to find enough money to pay the membership fee. Some are just down and out and can’t dig up the money. It is not a great deal of money and if you are bold enough to dig up the money to pay the annual fee, it cost even less.

It doesn’t cost as much as cigarettes or coffee or beer. Could that be a solution, to give up something to gain something of more value. Now there is an original thought.
When I was a kid and I wanted something, I found a job to earn the money to get it. I would cut lawns, work on farms, plant lawns, pull weeds, harvest fruit, anything to get a buck. If you want something badly, you will get it some how or other.

So let’s assume that you are determined to make a long-term commitment to Internet Marketing.

Let’s assume that you are like the four young men I know who made an excellent living while in college to gain their college expenses. They had to give up something to earn their pay. They gave up much of their social life for one thing. I use to work many hours while I was grinding out the five years it took me to graduate in engineering. I was working for peanuts. There was no such thing as Internet Marketing.

Two of these are Carson and Kyle. Another is Ryan Moran who is one of our fellow members. The other is a young man who was going to college in New Zealand when he learned to market on the Internet. I know the stories of these four. They worked their butts off to succeed and they have carried that work ethic with them to become very successful.

I know not a few who have taken a private business onto the Internet, one an auto parts dealer, another is my neighbor who grows lavender and puts the extracts into lotions and creams, and then there is my vet son how has two very profitable Internet businesses which I have helped to grow in some way, a musical instrument business and a herb business. And then there is the man who had the hobby of juggling and now sells all kinds of juggling apparatus on the Internet.

The dream to make money on the Internet is not only possible it is feasible. So get this thought into your mind, “I MUST WORK HARD TO ACHIEVE WHAT IS NOW ONLY A DREAM.”

John, I must say, your writing is simply captivating! I began reading and a few paragraphs in I had a 2 year old screaming, an 8 year old hitting a 10 year old and both of them hollering for a referee. Normally, I would have tended diligently to my favorite rackets, however, I was already deeply engrossed. The solution? I handed the children off to day whilst I locked myself in the bathroom to finish reading. Thank you greatly for sharing!
