Ask Yourself 3 Questions
Here are three great questions to ask and answer in the process of identifying your perfect money-making niche:
1.What am I passionate about?
What do I love learning about and doing that I could write about in order to become a leading authority or expert? It is ten times easier to find a starving audience if you already understand them. If you think like them and feel what they feel, you can relate more easily to them and speak to their issues.
This means you can either pick a past version of yourself like “How I went from flat broke to making $3,000 a month in 90 days” …or a present/future version of yourself , e.g. something you want to start doing like “Join me as I chronicle my weight loss goal of 100 pounds over the next 365 days”. It could be something you are interested in learning about for your own purchase like “How to find the best_______ for the lowest price and know for sure you got the best deal”.
2.The second question to ask yourself is, “Do people spend money in my area of passion?”
In other words can I monetize my passion? Can I make money in this niche by reviewing and recommending products and programs that people want to buy? Can I make money from advertisers to my site who appeal to my target audience? Are people buying books, products and programs on this subject? Can I make money by offering my own eBooks or Apps on this subject?
3.Are there a variety of quality products and or services to promote in this area? Look for and make a list of:
Books, Magazines, Affiliate Products, Wholesale Products, Advertisements, Software Apps, etc. that feature solutions for your niche market
Money Tip #3:Your website audience will relate more easily to you if you come from an authentic place of honesty about your past experience that has resulted in success or a present need that establishes community support.
