Creating a Brand for Your Business

As an entrepreneur that wishes to be known by his brand, having your name as your brand and domain name may be a good idea. To give it more appeal, you may pick your first name in addition to your niche.

When you use your name as your domain name, make sure that you add a tagline that describes what you do. This will make it easy for your customers to know what your business is all about. Some popular brand names are:

  • Gary Vaynerchuk
  • NeshaWoolery
  • Charlie Marie
  • McDonalds
  • GoinsWriter
  • Neil Patel Digital

Lately I have in mind to put for my wife her first and last name in the domain of her site. Thank you Israel for clarifying the pros and cons.

I have a domain with my name but am not using it at the moment, maybe later. Food for thought.

Of course, you should keep that personalized domain name and start using it some other time. Thanks for your lovely comment, Lily!

Great post Israel. For me using my name as a brand has enabled me to get far more exposure, as near enough everything I do online, (emails, posts, comments and sites) will have my name in some form or another. It's also free publicity.
