A Few Ways To Boost Your Self-Confidence

1. Visualise A More Confident You

See a new image of yourself being the confident person you want to become. Allow yourself to experience this in your mind and replay it over and over until it starts to feel natural.

Look for opportunities to actually behave like the new you and keep practicing. Soon you will be making an easy crossover.

2. Learn Something New

Challenging yourself and moving outside of your comfort zone by learning something new is a great way to boost your self-confidence. We have many of those opportunities right here at Wealthy Affiliate (WA).

Seize the moment and try a new Social Media platform, share more about you and your accomplishments or get to know someone in your network.

3. Exercise

This is an excellent way to get those neurons fired up and send some positive messages to your brain and throughout your body.

Move. Take a walk, ride a bike, go for a run, do yoga. Just move. Exeercise makes you feel as though you can move mountains. That's a great confidence-booster right there!

4. Celebrate Your Little Wins

Taking time out from the routine to smell some roses along that marathon journey makes all the difference. Rather than waiting until you reach the end, (which you never will as your goals will keep changing), reward yourself for those small steps that lift you a little higher.

Reward and celebration adds energy to your drive. That special feeling of accomplishment feeds your desire to do more which builds your self-efficacy and self-esteem.

Whilst you may not have the level of self-confidence that you would like today, with a little focused effort and commitment to yourself you can change that.

You are in control. Use your power to strengthen your self-confidence and achieve all your goals . . . and them some!

I'm use to ask so many peoples a question about the "Top and riches peoples in the USA." Most of the peoples said that "Bill Gates" is the only one. An Old man asked me "Kid" Do you wants to be riches like Bill Gates? I said yes!

My question to "Mr. Bill Gates" Is that I only have $1,000 on me, but I really need $50K by the end of this month! What can I do to make $50K?

Hey I'd listen to Tony Robbins and his practical approach to compound interest, it is not the How but the Why in my opinion. I am Lula by the way hope you are having a terrific day.

Am so glad I read this. Amazing how the timing was so apropo...
I never liked doing those exercises in from of the mirror, I never liked the way I felt when having to see myself. Interesting, even now, after reading those prompts, I realized how much I was hiding from myself. There's a lot more to the reasons behind that, but suffice it to say, now I understand what I needed to do to make it this far in life.

Six years ago, I emerged my true self and have traveled quite the journey. Now its time to face the mirror and, quote, 'Make that change ("Man in the Mirror" by Michael Jackson.).

Rudy, for some reason, you have brought tears to my eyes.
Your sharing is so touching and hits home.

With such honesty, you are well on your way to strengthening your self-confidence and influence others.

It is only ourselves that we have to live with to the end - like it or not.
I prefer to like it. 🙂

Thank you so very much for sharing.

Hi Cassie. Self confidence is something that can be natural or be earned rather than learnt. Many of those who you have highlighted were risk takers with no real idea of what was successful they just hoped it would be. I know what my limits are and having the knowledge of my limits gives me my confidence.

This is a perspective that I agree with, Dave.
When we take risks and are resilient enough to manage the consequences - good or bad - that further strengthen our confidence.

Thank you so much for taking the time.

Interesting idea about confidence on line. I actually dress for work on my site! Not a tie any more but smart casual with decent shoes, it puts me into a business frame of mind to treat it seriously. Im not sure if my writing style on line subsequently appears confident but I hope so!

Have a great day!

I do the exact same thing, Trevor.
Whether I am having video meetings or not.
Once I am working, I am dressed for work, thankfully without the offline suit and tie. 🤦‍♀️

Business casual is the dress code now.
