Put a checkmark in the small box near the picture you wish to edit.
Put your cursor near the image, bottom right, and these options will appear:
Edit | Delete Permanently | View
Choose Edit
Scroll to the bottom of the picture and choose the box that says EDIT IMAGE
Something like this will appear, but with your image:

To resize a picture on an image to image basis (leaving main image as original size), there is another way to do this. Make changes straight into WP Text editor, and change the width and height attributes making sure you maintain the ratio.
i.e. you have an image and want to halve its size.
Locate the <img />
and change -> width: 400; height: 150;
to -> width: 200; height: 75;
You can keep changing until its right for you! Just thought I'd chip in.
