Remember that you must do this with every domain you have at Go Daddy, and if you have a few it could get a bit spendy.

Tip

I Use namecheap and they offer WhoisGuard for free. If you plan on owning multiple sites, you may want to check them out. :)

I hope this tutorial helps you get this set up and as always, if you have any questions or comments please leave them below.

Have fun with this and for more tips in WordPress be sure to go to my profile and check out all of my training tutorials. :)

Great info, and very important stuff that I was slow to learn :)
Remember to search for promo codes before you buy, there's usually one available somewhere. I recently renewed my domains with privacy added free with Godaddy using a promo code. And there are always promos floating around for new domain purchases with privacy added at a discount or completely free.

OK, I have found all the info to transfer domains from Go daddy to namecheap. It is quite a bit of work and I will try to do a tutorial on it tomorrow for anyone who would like to transfer their domains. if I do one for namecheap i must also do one for Go daddy to make it fair. :)
