You should be on your domain page now. If you see an orange tab under the "Registration Type" box that says add privacy click on it.
If you do not see the tab then you are good to go and already have the privacy feature added.
If you do see the tab, click on it and it will take you to a screen where you can purchase your privacy for your site. Just follow the directions and it will walk you through the rest of the process. It will be $9.99 for the protection.
Once you finish the process you will see confirmation of privacy in the "Registration Type" box and you are good to go.

Remember to search for promo codes before you buy, there's usually one available somewhere. I recently renewed my domains with privacy added free with Godaddy using a promo code. And there are always promos floating around for new domain purchases with privacy added at a discount or completely free.
