Selecting a Product
You have your choice of a multitude of products but in my example, I already knew which ones I would feature. One, in particular, had been my father's favorite while he was living with us. Another was one he had been using prior. Each was best for a slightly different need.
Obviously, the more you know about your product, the better advice and help you offer to your reader. Even if you already use the product, research it a bit more.
- Research and study the product.
- Look at the comparison products.
- Jot down the pros and cons.
- Read Reviews.
- If possible, get some input from others you know.
You might write a review of the product at this point. Not one to publish yet, but to help keep you organized and on target.

Diane, thanks for this training. A helpful guide to prepare a product focused writing method. I saved this. Everyone needs to do the planning in steps. Awesome training. My structure is almost similar to yours. I also follow Nathaniell's training. He provided great class for product focused writing template.
