Here is an example of a comment from my "Work From Home With No Investment-Is This Legit" post.
As you can see his comment is relevant to the content (If you want to read the post, my website is on the bottom right of my profile) in my post that he was commenting on.
You need to READ the post in order to leave a proper comment. Would you want someone NOT reading your post and leaving a comment that was not relevant?
This was a comment left on my post, that is NOT a comment. It is feedback.
I like your site. You have really captured the essence of your subject and if I wasn’t already a participant of the program, I would join you. But you do seem to have more pictures, and links to other social media so what level have you completed?
PS. I find the purple text in your menu items a little hard to read but it is probably just my bad eyes. Good luck
A comment is supposed to relate to what the writer haswritten. If you are reading a post about healthy food then you are COMMENTING about the content.
Ex, Thank you Jane for your information about how fruit contains sugar even though we think we are eating healthy. I love mango's but now that I know a serving of 1 cup contain 23 grams of sugar, I might have to switch my snack to raspberries. I could have 2 cups and not have reached the amount of sugar in a serving of mango's.
You would want to leave an in-depth comment, this was just to show you what a COMMENT is. You are interacting with the writer. There should be NOTHING about how awesome/horrible their site is laid out, or that you would suggest adding more pictures. That is not a comment.
We are going to go over comments a little more before getting to the feedback side of this .
You will soon notice (if you haven't already) that there are places where members will ask for comments on certain post. Like on the give and take comment thread that Kyle created.
On the next page we will cover the comment section in SiteComment.
I'll see you there.
Your tutorial is straightforward, clear, and meaningful. Let's just hope that those who need it find it in time to help them.
Continued success,
Joshua
