Tracking your Clicks
So you've created a My-Linker campaign and a My-Linker cloaked link. You've put the cloaked link into your latest article and it's been published. Now you want to see how the link is doing - how much traffic is your landing page getting from this link?
Let's find out!
Log into My-Linker and on the Dashboard screen it will show you your top performing links. You'll be able to see how many clicks the link is getting.
Sometimes if a link isn't performing well (not sending me the traffic I want), I'll change the Call To Action text around (if I can). This is sometimes hard to do if it's an article that's been published. But if it's a blog entry I can change, or a forum signature or my WA Space profile link - then I'll change it up.
Split Testing
Sometimes I create two links and put them in the same article. Both links use the same cloaked link, but they have very different Call To Action text. This is how I can test which Call To Action gives better results.
