Exploring The Facebook Page Manager

For anyone just starting to manage pages a welcome tool and app itself is the Facebook page app.

(This App Is a Huge Asset For Running And Moderating Groups)

*Icon Appears The Same In Both App Stores*

For Now in this lesson we will just talk more about the basic page functions such as Messaging and Posting - These are the core of our intended use and remember everything else is an extra so don't sweat not understanding everything away.

For future reference for anyone choosing to have moderators or anyone in place responding to their store front this can be used by anyone in any assigned page roll position:

  • Admin (*You are here*) - You don't really want anyone else in this position unless you can absolutely trust them.
  • Moderators - When a Facebook page is linked to a group it becomes an admin of that group and setting a persons assigned role to this will ensure they are given ample permission to monitor the group.
  • Editors
  • Live contributors - Can post as your page for your followers to see.
  • Analyst - Can view group Insights
  • Advertiser

Tasks 0/2 completed
1. Download The Face Book Page Manager - Found In Google Play or Apple App Store
2. Explore the functions - Messaging, Automated Posting Ability Etc.

This is very good training on an important topic. I've been using Facebook for a while now for posting pages from my websites. However, you have added some new insights that will improve my social presence. For example, creating and attaching a social group. This will make my FB page more interactive. Up until now it has been a passive exercise, ask for likes and comments, and hope visitors will click a link to come to my website.
Thanks for the tips, I'll definitely be following up on them.

It works phenomenal, I'll be updating the training more as I go. I manage a 7.5k social club so it stirs a lot of traffic as you can imagine.
