About Esteadman
Joined April 2017
Retired Engineer/Construction Manager working from home.
I have been happily married for 42+ years with 4 children, born in 4 different countries, and 2 beautiful grandchildren living with us, parents both working so lots of babysitting going on. We have owned and operated a seafood restaurant for over 20 years and it is still going strong. My wife and oldest son managed it while I traveled to different countries around the world on construction projects and they continue to run it which gives me time to dedicate to WA.
My hobbies include Scuba Diving (no longer active) and Classic Car rebuilding. I am currently working on a 67 Mustang Fastback and an 88 Camaro Iroc Z.

Hi there - thanks for following me.

You have had a full life. You must have so much experience to bring to the table.

I see your website is indexed - is that the Scuba Diving one or did you go into a remodelling cars one. That would be an awesome one and I am sure it must be profitable!!!

All the best.

Hi again Tracy, sent the previous reply prematurely.

In answer to your questions, I have 2 websites indexed. One is about small kitchen appliances, mostly Amazon affiliate links and the other is a WA affiliate site about earning income for retirement.
Remodelling cars will be one for the future after the others grow some more.

Well done! I am thinking to try E-Commerce in crafts or cake decorating. Looks like there is great potential in cake - most keywords I have tried are low hanging fruit.

Wishing you all the best.

Hello Edward ... thank you for the follow. What a wonderful arrangement for jumping in to this with both feet. Retired with successful family business requiring very little of your attention. Lots to learn and lots to do, so it just takes time before the seeds of your labor begin to grow.

But grow they will as long as you keep the pedal to the metal, and I'm not talking about cruising around town in the Mustang or Camaro ... but that does sound cool.

I wish you the best on your WA journey.

Obviously you don't have to click every single comment or you will be here all day doing nothing but.
But to click the ones you like that are replies to your own comments will be reflected in your WA ranking because it shows you are getting involved with the community.

Hello Ed, it's lovely to meet you and thank you for following me. It's a joy to meet you here in WA.

I remember doing a dive with a friend of mine - he wanted me to experience what it was like to scuba dive - it was awesome!!!! Just like swimming in a HUGE fish tank. So quiet, peaceful, serene with just the sound of my breathing under water. I was doing skydiving at the time, so I continued going up while he continued going down ... so to speak. You have a great niche there coupled with your classic car rebuilding.

Wishing you every success here in WA. I know you're going to crush it - looking forward to hearing more.

All the best

Hello, Esteadman. Thanks for following me. Followed you back. Enjoyed reading your profile. You would enjoy seeing the 65 Mustang convertible that a friend of mine shows. He has a trophy case in the Mustang's room in the garage. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary the same year the Mustang turned 50. Bought an anniversary model Mustang in the same color scheme as their 65 (black over red). Had t-shirts with pics of their Mustangs that said "50 years of Mustangs and 50 years of Gary and Gwen. WOW, Edward, Classic Car rebuilding.

AND a 67 Mustang and 88 Camaro. Where do you find the time chasing around for parts? It is hard enough rebuilding old bikes.

Good luck and good luck with your online business and adventures throughout WA.

Thank you for following me and I wish you the best in all aspects of life.

Hi Brad,
Thanks for following me back.
Finding parts for a 67 Mustang here in North America really isn't much of a problem. There are quite a few manufacturer's making exact copies of everything from the ground up. The challenge is finding time and money to do the rebuild. Because of rust and corrosion, about the only parts that I was able to save were the roof and trunk lid. The metalwork is now complete and Phase 2 is ongoing putting in mechanical components i.e. suspension, steering, brakes and drive train.
The 88 Camaro is more challenging because it isn't quite old enough to be considered a classic so I have to look around in scrap yards and eBay for parts. Fortunately, it is in much better shape, driveable and no rust or corrosion.
Best of luck to you here at WA as well.

Hello! And Welcome to the Wealthy Affiliate. I have been her for about a month and have really found the whole community and training program here very helpful. The way it's all set up is efficient and effective. I've spent a lot of time over the years trying to find and learn ways to build my own content on my own website and lost a lot of money doing it all. I honestly feel that this is the place to be.

You can check out the site I've build in the month I've been here following the training and utilizing the community of entrepreneurs as I move along.

My website is: www.preparetoact.org It's all about womens safety, safety products, blogs, product reviews, etc.
Don't expect much, it still needs a lot of work. Please feel free to offer any advice or suggestions you think might help to make it better.

I've followed you and feel free to do the same in case I could be of any help at all.

Best of luck with all that you strive to accomplish.

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

Thanks Kyle, it's going well. Working at home has it's advantages and disadvantages i.e. constant interruptions, lol.
Yes, thought I had the niche idea down but still wondering - is "kitchen small appliances" too broad or should I go deeper into for example "blenders/juicers" or "slow cookers" or other appliances?
Reply
Kyle Premium
Yeah, you could narrow it down even more if you wanted. Slow cookers alone or Juicers are massive niches.
