Not bad. I want to adjust some things. See these arrows at the top left-hand corner? Those are the undo/redo buttons. If you change something you don’t like, undo it!

I’m going to mess around a little bit with font, type size, and placement until I get a meme that I like.

I like this one, but I can still make it better. It needs some borders.

Move on to the next part of the lesson and I’ll show you how to add a border and change the background color.

Thank you for this. I didn't know anything about googles' offerings. Call me out of touch, but exactly is a meme? I've heard the word used but never really understood what it means

The term "meme" means one of those photo graphics with a short caption, comment, or quip. They're usually funny, sometimes controversial, and mostly not professional graphic design. They are all over Facebook and Instagram, and for some people, they're the main way they communicate on social media sites. (I'm pretty sure it's pronounced "meem," by the way.)

Hi there :)

Thanks for the tutorials, but I think using Canva.com would be quicker and produce better results.

Give it a go.

You're welcome. I dislike any app that has in-app purchases. I have a knack for always choosing the one they are going to charge me for when I went in expecting "free."
