What is your business?

Yes, right!

That is the most fundamental question to start with.

  • Is it a hobby?
  • a pastime?
  • a shop?
  • a niche with reviews?
  • an academic blog?
  • ...

Depending on what business you are in you will have other obligations like tax, registred trademarks, and others. Which are not the object of the training right now.

Be very consistent in defining your business and what it is. Even if it is a pastime.

This is a great subject. Alot of people that start blogging or other types of home based businesses never have a business plan, so more often than not they end up treating their business like a hobby instead of a business. And we all know that if we treat our business like a hobby it will pay us like a hobby....Nothing!
