3 types of customers = 3 landing pages

Three different landing pages for your 3 types of customers would be highly beneficial, considering the cost of advertising today.

Do understand, you do NOT need to create all 3 landing pages straight away. In fact, it is suggested that you simply start by creating a landing page for The Enlightened.

Reason being is that The Enlightened is your most likely buyer, and when they do make their purchase, you will then have cash to reinvest in your business.

I have heard landing pages compared to farming: First you plant the seeds, then you cultivate, and then your harvest. Cultivating or tending relationships and building trust with your potential buyers does not happen instantly.

What type of landing page offering will you use to cultivate these 3 types of customers?

You could use free webinars, free video series, free courses, free ebooks, etc.

The higher the price of your product or service the more you will need to cultivate your potential customer in order to convert your leads.

There are several free landing page templates available online. All you need to do is Google search and you will find them. However, you will need to understand how to handle HTML in order to take advantage of these freebies.

Also, there are several different landing page plugins available, with a range of prices from free (with few options offered, obviously) to a cost that also ranges, depending on the plugin you choose.

The paid-for landing page plugins offer several different styles of templates that you may find an advantage in using. Again, Google searching to find these will offer you the best, most updated range of options available.

You can even learn more about creating landing pages that convert.

When Google searching for “learning to create landing pages that convert” (without the quotation marks, of course) you will be offered some really great free information, along with courses offered by Udemy on landing pages for under $20.

My advice to those who seriously want to learn to create landing pages that convert well is this: do not skip the opportunity for further learning.

Hope this tutorial has helped to inform you.

Of course🙂 I am trying to pull together resources for learning more about landing pages. I was calling for input or landung pages to build another with team input for A/B split testing. I think maybe people think I am a goon or not understanding what I am talking about. So I get the feeling this might help out the community. I think we are all so busy crafting we sites and making through trainings that we forget there is a team of colleagues here to help.
Okok i am a goon,
Sincerely,
Nurse Becca

I appreciate this Trish. I don't use landing pages at all but if I ever do, I will take your advice. I thought of my post titles however and how they address the 3 types of customers you mention. I think most of mine all fall in the Enlightened and the Troubled catagories. The Enlightened are those looking for specific products for their health or their pet's health (depending on which of my websites they come to). They may be deciding between the best brands of grain free cat food for example, or cat behavior aids.

The Troubled have a serious problem like a sick pet that they want to help but have no idea how or a cat peeing around the house and they are desperate to fix the problem. I have post titles that address both of these groups but I never thought of breaking the groups down as specifically as you have here. Thanks!

I also agree that landing pages that ask questions can be a huge turn off. I would click away if a page started asking me questions. I want to look for information, not be quizzed. Speaking directly to a person is a much better approach.

Hey Jessica,

Never thought about the actual posts... but with landing pages you would use those for, say, Facebook ads. Having the 3 types of customers, each with their own ad linked to their own landing page has proven to work well.
