More Guest Blogging Tips

Don't repeat articles

Hey! Do your homework. Check out their blog. Comment on a few articles. Learn the way the website owner writes and the persona he/she has created. Get a feel of what the readers are seeking and be sure to not offer up a guest post article on a topic that the website owner has already covered! Yes, it seems like a simple request, but it happens - I assure you. Don't get "egg on your face."

Don't do the Shotgun

Another thing I have seen blog owners do is the "shotgun approach". Be selective of the websites you approach for a guest blogging opportunity. You're going to put some time in this. Research their website. Is it clean and professional? Will you be proud to be associated with your new "relationship"? Don't just approach them because you think you will get approved. As with all backlinks, Quality is far better than Quantity!

Prepare for Disappointment - Bounce Back!

Even with the best training on the proper methods for guest posting, prepare yourself....

YOU'RE GOING TO FACE REJECTION

It happens to all of us. That's okay! Pick yourself up and move on. If this were easy, EVERYONE would be doing it! This is what separates the professional from the amateur. Stay motivated! IT WILL HAPPEN! (Then, come back and thank me!)

Thank you for the training. With EzineArticles.com...I wrote 3 articles a while back. I used to contribute articles to article directories. I'm glad to know I can do this to increase my website traffic.

There's just no stopping you PJ you're on a roll! Great tutorial. I've published many articles on Ezine over the years and they definitely do give you credibility. Also searching for high ranking blogs in your niche and commenting (sensibly) on them can give you solid backlinks. Thanks again for your hard work.
