As a guideline, there are several numbers that you should keep in mind when it comes time to lengthen your marketing copy.
Did you know that people read only headlines, the first and last three sentences? Even though it may seem less significant, changing the headline to include all the vital information at the beginning and the end of your headline can make a big difference in conversions.
Torrey Podmajersky, in her book titled ‘Strategic Writing for UX’, states that headlines should be no more than 40 characters. This means that you should have between three and six words. Paragraphs shouldn't exceed three lines. If they are longer, people might see them as wall of text.
Remember that over half of all traffic to affiliate sites comes from mobile devices. This number is on the rise. Your copy should also be shorter, as mobile screens can make long sentences challenging to read.
This seems like a lot to consider, but you don't have to worry. Simplifying your writing is easy.

There are basics and just good tips I have overlooked in the past.
My one thought is Google wants at least 1,000 words to rank at all. I have always thought that was excessive, but I am not Google.
I suppose it depends on what you are writing about. A thesis on "Babe Ruth" would require much more than 1k words while selling a clothing affiliate wouldn't
I will have to apply this to my own business.
