2.The use of images
When you enter an article, and stumble on a blanket of text, you bounce back quicker than a squash ball which hits the wall. Make use of an infographic. recreate images. Add your own text to pictures. My mom always says, the eye also wants something. It can make your post really stand out.
3. Lousy layout
A messy look can really scare away people. Be sure you align your layout. The pictures you choose have to combine with the whole. Make of your website a unity.

Totally awesome advice as ever Loes.
I love that you tell us to put ourselves into the post, with our own anecdotes. This will happen quite naturally when you become more confident, so it’s always wise to go back to old posts to see where they can be improved.

Really good points on writing a blog your visitors will actually read. When I'm on a website with a whole page of writing & nothing else, I don't stay long. The same goes for websites with several spelling & grammar errors or lots of advertisements. I agree with you about music on a website. Let your reader choose if they want to listen to it.
