You might also want to hide your taskbar so it is not there as a distraction. For those of you who don't know, the taskbar is the bar with your open programs at the bottom of the screen.

You can hide the taskbar by right-clicking the taskbar, clicking "properties", check the box "Auto-hide the taskbar" and click "apply". This will cause the taskbar to go away when your mouse is not near it.

Perhaps you could look into software that simulates the print screen button?

Thanks for the feedback. Taking screenshots is a necessity in this business and there's not many resources on how to take professional screenshots so I thought I'd publish this.

If you were looking to take pictures of web pages a chrome extension would work. However, this is geared towards taking a picture of certain computer programs, all of which may not be full-screen. Here is an example of a post where I use this tactic: http://blazingfastpc.com/how-to-use-oracle-vm-virtualbox

so a virtual operating system works in this case? What are the advantages.

The virtual operating system thing is unrelated to this training. That was simply an example of how I used this method of taking screenshots in one of my posts on my own website.
