Communicate Your the Expert

Listen, if you're not going to 'blow your own trumpet' know one else is. This is where you need to be bold and proud. This is very different to arrogant and 'know it all'. As much as I know this content works through using it myself and working with both amateur and professional speakers and presenters. I am also standing here open to learn too. And this is key.

Back to the topic at hand. What I mean is:

Firstly, make sure you have an up-to-date and detailed profile here at WA. Speaking broadly about who you are and your experiences both professionally and personally. I like reading why people are here on WA too. For me, I am here to broaden from connecting to only a local market to a global one.

Members really do read these profiles especially if you're creating training. I have just edited mine after being a member for 5 months because I was creating training so I wanted it to be more focused. I'm sure I will improve on this again before the year is out.

Secondly, explain in your overview or first page of training or opening welcome statement in a video training, your experience as to why you have this knowledge. This can be from short experiences to long term knowledge and experience. Participants simply find it reassuring to know that it works and the reasons you know why it does.

Thirdly, 'get over yourself'! If you're uncomfortable with the word expert to describe yourself, frankly, get over it. I say this with loving kindness. What I specifically mean by that is, you don't have to have the knowledge for decades to be able to share it. Especially here at WA. I created a training on How to Navigate the WA Training Menus to be able to create a WA training. I couldn't find a video on it, and I had lost the specific lesson Kyle had created. But Kyle's wasn't a short video training either. I love Kyle's training here but they're often very lengthy., which is great. But I wanted an alternative, to create something short and sharp to be used over and over. My motivation? I confess, initially I was motivated to create the training for myself because each time I went to do one training I kept making the same mistakes... but then in conversation with another WA member that said they would appreciate it too, I finally made the video. If it helps you it often helps others.

But be mindful what the next step Be Credible recommends....

Once again another great training Fleur! Very thorough walk through. I do like the section explain the voids, but the call to action is a must read for all!. I am going to copy it down and reread again tomorrow, as I'm sure I've missed a few things. Thanks so much once again. I greatly appreciate reading these trainings.

I was just going over in my mind what I was going to start calling your collection of trainings, lol... its so funny how we do those kinds of things :o)

I found the training excellent all the way through, Fleur, but if I had to give my best take away from the training I would say The Call To Action. This is an essential step to ask for the sale.
