What Is A Keyword?
Seems like a simple question, but some clarification may be necessary.
A keyword is a word or group of words that a user types into a search engine for the purpose of learning more about the word or words.
For example, if you go to google.com and search "hiking tips for beginners", you are simply looking for some information about what you need to know to go hiking, right?
So, hiking tips for beginners is your keyword. This is the part I wish to clarify. All four words together (hiking tips for beginners) is one keyword. This was very confusing for me when I started so I thought it might be worth mentioning.
