Having large images on your website can have a bad effect on your page loading time and also make your visitors click off your site.

This is even more so in respect of mobile devices so always add your images to your posts or pages at the correct size. That way you will have great load times for them and keep people on your site.

In this video I show you how to resize an image if you find its way too big for where you want to place it.

hi martin - thanks for the turorial.
didn't know whether you could get the original back to use elsewhere- but there is a restore original image size - which doesn't affect what you have just done.
so if you scale it for one post and then want to use it with a different size in another then edit and restore the original size - change to the new required size and save again - you now have a different size image to use.
bit different adding the image in thrive architect to gutenberg or classic editor.
would you recommend thrive products?

Hi Phil, It does only let you change the existing image, you could add the image in again and redo at different size but sort of defeats the object of not having to resize externally.

Yes it is a bit different using Thrive architect than the other editors, although I do have one site I only use the classic editor as people always want to know things and I can show them easily.

Fully recommend all Thrive products and their themes I use one of their themes on my Designed-4-U site. It makes it so easy to create landing pages, optin boxes plus enhancing your blog posts with symbols and all the other great features. 100% worth the money.

Note too Thrive has been my best earning product so far too so worth promoting it you are in that niche.

Thanks for your comments

Ummm, I paid for Thrive membership last year... is it yearly membership fee?

I also paid Studio Press for Authority Pro theme for my new site but haven't used it yet. And then I decided on the Elementor Plugin, the free one... yikes.

Sounds like you have some choices to make ... Thrive membership is monthly or yearly or just buy what you need either themes or plugins... If you already have them then you should be okay to still use them if they are active. So no new membership needed.

I find Elementor plugin difficult to use... I prefer to build pages and posts with Thrive Architect.

Thanks Martin... arrrggg, I don't know... I'll have to decide very soon.

I'll go back to Thrive Architect and look at it again.

If you need a review now then head to my Youtube channel (link on my profile) and check out the video I sis a while ago... although there has been more features added since it will still give you an overview.
