You may have noticed that some of the WA blogs that I write and post here are more geared towards people outside of WA. That is because I intend to link back to these blogs from my website. Then there will be some that are niche specific, like my blog on doing research in the CBD Hemp Oil niche.
In the case of the CBD Hemp Oil blog, I can place a link to this blog within the content of my hemp niche website. Plus it doesn’t have to be an affiliate link of the blog and I still will get the referral credit. Even though the blog is about doing research into the hemp niche, it is still relevant to my hemp website.
If someone outside of WA clicks on that link and goes to WA to read my post, within 15 seconds they will get a pop up asking them to join WA, see above. The majority of people would just close the pop up and read on, but there is always a possibility that someone may join. I gained a few referrals this way.
This approach may not work for all niches and you do have to be a bit crafty when it comes to which WA blog you will link to from your website. Remember, it must be relevant to your niche. If your niche is in a creative type category, this can be a good way to get people to join WA. Here’s how.
Let us say your niche website was about the DIY, Do It Yourself niche. Many people in that niche have a creative mindset to begin with. You could subtly mention to them that they too can create a website in the DIY niche. Then you could direct them to WA via a link or using the Site Rubix widget as seen below.
I did this on my video game testing website. I basically said that, if you like video games and can share knowledge on certain genres of games, you too can create your own video game website. Then I placed the Site Rubix widget in the post. I received a couple of referrals that way.
