9. Add More Screenshots to Your Posts

The truth is, screenshots might not be appropriate for every post. But if it suits your writing style or purpose, then use it. Screenshots add more credibility and authenticity to your article. You can even upload an even better animation screenshot.

10. Try Some Videos on Your Content

Add short and fun videos to your content. The video doesn’t have to be yours; you go to YouTube and search for videos that complement your post. Use it and acknowledge the YouTube channel.

Note: Don’t use videos from YouTube channels that compete with you.

Videos are a great way to boost your content’s engagement which, in turn, increases SEO and conversions.

11. Build Internal Links

One of the key SEO techniques entails that: Whenever a new blog post is published, include the link to an older relevant post. This helps to synchronize your blogs together using links.

Updating old content allows internal link building. For cases where there are already too many existing links, you can replace them with relevant URLs.

12. Add Links to External Sites

Linking your site to the external ones is important. When linking your site, ensure they are linked to relevant and authoritative websites. This practice gives more value to your website in terms of credibility and authority.

13. Add More Visual Appeal

It is not just enough to incorporate images and videos into your blog content; especially for long blog posts. Such a page would rather appear like a cluster of un-ending texts and doesn’t grip attention.

Give your readers proper visual opportunities to enhance their engagement with your content. Avoid using too many colors that would make your content repulsive to users. Remember the aim – to keep readers hooked to your page.

14. The Right Call-to-action

If the call-to-action on the older blog post didn’t perform well, then try making little modifications to it for a better response. If it becomes necessary to re-define your content tone, please do.

The fundamental objective is for your content to yield results. So go ahead and optimize your call-to-action if the older one isn’t bringing you the anticipated result.

Hi

You can edit all except changing the URL. If the URL changes to Google it is a new post.

Thanks again, Zveki! It's not enough to just hit the Update button but you need to add value to the existing content and Google will reward you appropriately. See you on the first page!
