Before we get started, I just want you to pull out a piece of paper and pen so that you can take notes. I'm not gonna test you on anything, I just feel like writing things down is a great way to absorb valuable information.
Okay, so first things first, you need to take a good look at your routine. Most importantly, you need to acknowledge whether or not your routine is consistent.
We are all creatures of habit and having just one thing happen that's out of our control is going to mess up our groove.
Whether it's taking the kids to school every morning or going to the gym before dinner, completing the same tasks every single day is what's going to determine your success.
Why?
Because it's going to make it easier to add new habits and tasks into your routine.
Take me for example. Last year, I was working as a chef while working on my business. So on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, I would wake up at 7 AM, go to work, get home at 11 PM, then work on my business until 1 AM.
But then on Thursdays and Fridays, I would wake up at 8 AM, work on my business for 3 hours, then go to work from 5 PM until midnight.
Most of the time though, I'd just sleep in.
I had to adjust my schedule into a consistent one so that I could work consistently on my business.
So let's recap...
Your first task in order to ensure you're making the most out of your day is having a consistent routine; day in and day out.
Weekends too BTW.
Let's move on!
