Link to Other People’s Posts
Linking to other people’s posts is an excellent way to make your content go viral as it can double your traffic before you know it and brings a lot of exposure to your site in the online world.
If you have a number of blog mentors that you feel your audience can safely be connected to, don’t hesitate giving such personalities free mentions within your blog posts and they will reciprocate at a later time.
Build Outbound Links (External links)
Outbound links are known as external links - Links on your website that point or direct to other websites! In other words, outbound links are links that refer to pages on a website other than yours though these can have negative or positive impact on your search rankings based on the site you're linking to.
You might be having a lot of references in some niche-related posts outside your own blog that you may want to share with your readers. You can include links to such posts in your own blog posts but that must be done with care.
First: How many internal links to other posts do you feel should be included? I always try to do one, but wondering if more would not be better.
Also, is it a good idea for me to go back to my early posts and link them to more recent articles?
I think I know how you will answer this one: I get several quality blogs in my site regularly. Should I post something in these regularly?
Question:
Would it help to cite certain sources that I used in my blog posts?
Like at the end of a post to show some links like http://wikipedia.org that I used to gather information.
Thanks for the great training.
