Google Results Bookmarklet

Okay, this final hurdle may be new for many of you. We are going to setup a "Bookmarklet". This is simply a harmless snippet of code to rearrange the information that will be presented to you now that we have tweaked the search results to show the information we want, but with less pages and in a more usable format.

STEP 2: Setup the Google Results Bookmarklet

First go to this website:

You will be presented with this :

Now, FIGHT the urge to just click that big green button. Just hold your horses there skippy! :-)

As indicated above, DRAG and DROP that button on your favorites toolbar of your browser. You do have that turned on, right?

So, after I DRAG and DROP, my toolbar looks like this:

The toolbar code snippet (Bookmarklet) is setup and ready to use. It's like an Excel "Macro" if you're a heavy Microsoft Excel user.

Okay, so then. If you have reached this stage successfully, pat yourself on the back. You deserve it!

Now, let's put it all together!

Pj,
If it wouldn't be for google+ I would not rank on the 1st page 7th and 8th down the list!
So what does that mean?

When you're logged into Google, you'll see things a bit differently. Because Google is using that to show you your stuff. It means it is linked, BUT it's not giving you a true estimate of how your pages rank within normal search results for the normal web visitor. You can use a free rank checker such as:
http://smallseotools.com/keyword-position/
This will give you an idea of where your website or a specific page ranks within the search results for specific keywords. Now, your page or site may be way down the list, but as time goes on and depending on backlinks, it will get closer and closer to page 1.

What makes such a big difference on page 4, between submitted and indexed?

Ah, I believe it tracks submissions in total. The most links I have had at any one time.
