Generating a Sitemap for Google, Bing, etc.

But, let's take a deeper look at your options ala non-video. If you haven't figured it out yet, I like stuff you can print out and follow along. Videos are great, but can sometimes be hard to pause, execute a step, pause again, execute next step and so on. Some people do better with video, don't get me wrong. But, I like to have the steps. Call me old-school! LOL!
So, in our training, we setup the All-in-One SEO plugin and that is what I'm going to use for this training, of course.
STEP 1: What are We Providing to Google?
Okay, so, per the training, with the AIO (All-in-One) plugin installed, if you login to your website, you'll have the XMLSitemap function turned on. It's a feature you have to turn on after the plugin is installed.
Then, you can click the XML Sitemap option under the AIO menu area as indicated on the left below:
Then, you can click the view your sitemap option to the right (as indicated above) and it will open your XML sitemap in another browser tab:You will be presented with something like this:
Ewww, that's hard to see the top...., but I wanted you to see the entire first screen. So, here's a closeup of the top part that is circled:Okay, now, as you can see, we are submitting 591 URLs to Google for indexing.The URLs are obviously listed below that.
These are the items we are providing Google for indexing. Now, let's take a look at what we can change!
