Getting an in-depth Understanding of Your Followers
The analytics on social media platforms are very intuitive and can help you ascertain the number of followers you currently have, but the analytics fails in a part.
Social media analytics does not provide you with an in-depth analysis of who your followers are. They are a very insightful way to know the number of followers you have, but they don’t help you understand them.
Therefore, I recommend checking through the profile of some of your followers for you to know them better, check for the job they do, find out where they work, and conclude if they are your ideal customers or they fit into some of your criteria.
This research is very easy to carry out; manually go through the profile of some people following you and get some basic information about them. I will advise that you start with about 15 of your most recent followers.
You should also draw out a table and compare the characteristics of your ideal followers with those that are following you. Dedicate a table to each profile you research about; the research is an individual one.
