If they are the ones following, that is perfect. It obviously means that your marketing campaign is geared in the right direction. And if it’s not, this could mean two things:

1. You Need to Adjust Your Marketing Strategy

The content you are posting online is not attracting the right set of persons, and as such, you won’t be able to convert them into buyers. This means you have to re-strategize your social media marketing. Go back and plan how you want to use your page with your ideal customers in mind.

2. You Need to Adjust Your Personas

It could also mean that your personas didn’t put into consideration all your potential customers. By researching who your followers are, you might discover that there is a market for your product or service that you didn’t notice.

If this is the case, you might have to create a persona for that kind of persons, but you have to be sure they are your potential customers.

Getting to know your ideal customers and creating a marketing campaign is just the fundamentals of growing your business. You need to be constantly checking if your campaigns are bringing your desired result, which is Key to growth.

You will not only get long-term customers, but it will save you the cost and time to be spent on attracting the wrong set of people.
