Here is what I'm going to do ... I will deactivate the plugin and I will perform a speed test using a page that contains five images.
Done! Here is the "regular" loading time with 5 tiny already optimized GIF images (total 123 KB):
And here's the loading time for the same page with the plugin re-activated:
Meaning? The plugin saved me 5 ms on 5 tiny GIFs ... On a page that has nothing else but text and those five small, already optimized 2D graphics ... No widget images, no post thumbnails, no comment gravatars, etc.
Just do the math for a page with a bunch of 3D hi-res JPGs, a few sidebar widgets, a few dozen comment gravatars, etc.
Simple, efficient and very useful! Isn't it?

I had already looked for a plugin aand was going to try a3 Lazy Loader but it hasn't been tested with the latest version of WP. Neither has BJ, though. There are others which have been tested but not with so many users. Why select BJ and will it be safe?
