After identifying our customer and his habits, we need to learn to analyse his behaviour relating to our website.
The easiest way to learn about the behaviour of the customers when it comes to your site, is to install Google Analytics. There are many great trainings out there on how to do is and I have no intention to compete! Here is one from Kyle himself:

and an other one from magicstudios:

Now that you have your analytics setup, you can take a look on the page. Things you need to worry about are shown in the diagram below:
Pages / Sessions
Ideally you want this number higher than 1, because it means people who are reading your content, also get interested of read something else, maybe based on internal linking or catchy headlines!
If your customers are only reading the page you send them to, ensure that you you learn more about internal linking. Here is a good training by Kyle, part of the bootcamp:

Avg. Session Duration
This is the time average customers spends on your website! You want this time to be as high as possible. Since this is an average, it doesn't show if you have readers who spend an half an hour on your site and others who close it after few seconds.
In order to improve your stats, exclude the known spiders, bots and spammers from your stats. Here is a very good article on how to do this:

Bounce Rate
Now we are getting to the important stuff. Your bounce rate, means people who open your website only to close it again right away, should ideally be as close to 0 as possible! Mine varies 0.9-2% depending on the website, if it's higher than 5%, you should start wondering about the reasons.
Reasons could be such as:
- Poor site speed. Run tools such as: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insi... to find out how to improve the speed
- No mobile friendly, test with: https://search.google.com/search-console/mobile-fr...
- Misleading SEO titles, advertising or domain name
- Site being offered in the wrong language for the intended geo or your customers being from different language group
New Sessions/Returning Visitor
Top indicator! You should be aiming for at least 35% returning happy customers. Remember the more times customer visits your site, more likely he is to purchase something!
If you do a lot of advertising, this is going to reflect in the stats. Also content that is too diverse or not relevant to your site will be reflected in these numbers.
So now that we have all our data, we are ready to create a delayed call to action, which I will talk about next.
