Let me first say that when you are initially growing your website during Kyle’s training, it is perfectly OK to be adding content every day. You do want Google to take note of your new website and Google absolutely loves fresh new content.
But once the initial pages & posts of your website framework are all in and your website is established, then you can slow the process down to a consistent schedule that matches your desire moving forward. You do not need to continue publishing new content every day. So when you feel the time is right, come up with a consistent content posting schedule that fits your goals.
CONSISTENCY IS IMPORTANT
But why is consistency important for better SEO? If you were to post 3 pieces of content in a day and then only 1 a couple of days later and then 2 the following week, or you skip a week and then post 2 on another day, that is being too erratic and Google cannot gauge when it is that you will be posting new content.
Google craves new content like tech junkies crave the latest and greatest smartphones. So if Google sees you are posting multiple times a week, they are going to expect that every week, and will keep sending Googlebot to index your new content.
But if you continually do not post any content at the same rate or schedule you did prior, and Googlebot comes and does not find what it is expecting, your website rank will eventually start to fall. Google wants to see consistency when it comes to new content being listed on your website, and this is why you need to come up with a consistent content posting schedule and stick to it.

I'm thinking of publishing one new post every saturday which I hope will be OK. This should save me a ton of time for other things (like programming, lol).
