When it comes time for you to create a content posting schedule, you want to plan it out based on how much content you can foresee yourself creating on a weekly bases for the next year. The more content your website has, the more of an authority Google will see you as, and the higher your rank will go.

CONSISTENCY OVER QUANTITY

It does not really matter how many times you post in a week. Yes, the more you post the more Google will like it but what matters the most is that you are consistent and you do not deviate from your schedule.

So when you make a content posting schedule, be realistic in the amount of content you can post. Remember, there are 52 weeks in a year, so that is 52 posts to your website if you are posting once per week. You have to take some time and plan this out. Don’t just start a schedule posting every Tuesday and Thursday and then 5 weeks later you have nothing to post.

It is important to know your niche and all of the things you can write about. Sometimes I look at content and get ideas on things to write about from content already written. If you do not think you can come up with 104 pieces of content for the next 52 weeks, then pace yourself and publish once a week.

I like that schedule, to keep posts in draft and publish one a week on the same day, thanks I am going to work on that!

You are welcome Loes. It is definitely a time saver and a less stressful way to stay on a consistent schedule.

This is so helpful! Thank you so much for your epic posts. I always thought that creating a new post every day was a good idea but I see what you mean. I would likely run out of ideas of content plus I am bad with consistency.
I'm thinking of publishing one new post every saturday which I hope will be OK. This should save me a ton of time for other things (like programming, lol).

Like I said in the training, it doesn't matter how much you post every week, just make sure you consistently do it week after week.

You can do what I do. Have a few saved posts/pages in draft mode. Then when it comes time to post, if you haven't written one up, choose from one of the saved drafts.

I want to keep my consistency up , trying to figure out how to best balance being helpful on WA and developing my own website. They are both really important to me since I learn so much from peoples questions.

When I was in the beginning stages of developing my website I devoted 80% to the website and 20% to the WA community. Though I love helping people, my website is more important.

Now that my website is more established, I can help out here a little more by creating these training tutorials.

Thant was my approach to what you are experiencing.

Thanks Lance! I hope the fire doesn't go out because I have 3 more to do. I just don't want to release them all at once, so I am trying to space them out by a couple of days. :)
