Install an Opt-In Email Subscription Form on Every Page of Your Site
To really make the most out of emailing, you should install the opt-in email subscription form across the pages of your site. This implies that visitors will always be prompted to sign up the form whenever they are visiting your site through any page.
When visitors land on your homepage, contact page, privacy policy page or on any other page of your site, they will be prompted to sign up this form. So, this can guarantee an appreciable increase in conversion rate.
Focus on the Quality of Your Mailing List
While trying to build up a list, don’t forget that quality should always take preeminence over quantity. Being quality conscious results in getting a quick ROI but to be quantity conscious, a lot of loopholes are always discovered.
If there are 1000 active subscribers on your list – the people, who are really interested in whatever you say, do or publish and they always opened, clicked through and read, they are more valuable than the 10000 subscribers with only 400+ people opening, clicking and reading through emails.
Ask Your Audience to Join Your List While in Contact with Each Other
There are numerous ways in which your audiences come in contact with you. This is truly another route to leverage while trying to connect people to your business.
While responding to a valuable comment left on your site, you can ask your readers to join your mailing list. And they won’t hesitate to do that once they are already enjoying your write-ups.
I couldn't help to laugh out loud -- asking for their Mother's Maidenname! ;-) But yes, it is so super annoying when they ask for a surname, telephone number or even a city or country. I don't mind the name, but the rest is really not needed and I often complete the other fields with (what I imagine would be) equally annoying answers, like "Why do you need this?" or "Why do you want to know this info?"
Thank you very much for another very informative and comprehensive training, Israel! Bookmarked & Liked! ;-)
