Enjoin Visitors to Join Your Mailing List during the Buying Process
Asking people to join your mailing list on visiting a page of your site could be very annoying. But when these visitors are already in the process of buying something from your site, you can introduce something like that to them and they may be interested to join the list willfully.
Another avenue through which you can introduce the joining of the mailing list is during the course of helping your social media audiences solve some problems. They will see you as an authority who really wants to help them. So, they will accept the offer of joining your mailing list.
Send Transactional Emails to Visitors that Have Taken Actions
When you have got some subscribers that have taken actions, it means they are pleased with your offers and are convinced beyond every doubt to buy one thing or the other on your site.
Thus, it will be a very good idea to send transactional emails to such people as well as include an invitation asking them to join your mailing list. They will definitely be in the correct mood to honor that invitation.
Ask Subscribers to Forward Every Email to Their Friends
You can ask subscribers who have already joined your list to invite their friends on social media and everywhere else. Some among their own friends who have seen them share your posts on social media times without number won’t hesitate to accept their offer when they ask such friends to join your mailing list.
This is equally a good way to generate more customers – the people who will seriously take one action or the other such as reading posts on your blog, commenting on your blog posts, and buying products or services through your sales pages.
I couldn't help to laugh out loud -- asking for their Mother's Maidenname! ;-) But yes, it is so super annoying when they ask for a surname, telephone number or even a city or country. I don't mind the name, but the rest is really not needed and I often complete the other fields with (what I imagine would be) equally annoying answers, like "Why do you need this?" or "Why do you want to know this info?"
Thank you very much for another very informative and comprehensive training, Israel! Bookmarked & Liked! ;-)
