Strategies To Getting Hired For Freelance Writing Contracts
1. Helping other people without expecting anything in return:
This has been the most accurate and working strategy for me so far and it's way more strategic then others on the list. Help a lot of people within your capacity and make sure never to ask for anything in return. This has eventually increased the number of emails I receive daily both on social channels and through electronic mails.
I try to be so generous to people especially the newbie bloggers who are just starting out with online business and would need a lot of mentoring towards becoming successful by giving full and interactive support when they needed it.
Sometimes, I made clarifications and explained things more pertaining to online business and building up a blog logically, giving mentoring like a one-on-one interactive session to people every time.
Could you guess what I experienced afterwards?
Did I receive payments for helping people out? Not at all!
When I try to clarify certain things about setting up, building, or promoting an online business as well as improving search rankings or building search engine traffic, they do remember and regard me as their mentor who they can always reply upon or get back to from time to time. They also leave their comments on my blog and social media posts. They eventually made me a pro.
The power of giving really works and creates influences, and is equally applicable in blogging.
Thus, I've been able to create stronger connections as I help people out daily and this draws me nearer to becoming an authority blogger.
