Just like with affiliate marketing you are not going to start making money overnight with influencer marketing and you will need to first establish yourself as an influencer.
Make your number one priority to start building relationships and getting in jobs no matter how much you get paid if at all.
You may be offered free products in exchange for a product review in the beginning - take it!
My advice is to start off with incredibly low prices and look at each job not at the monetary face value, but at the fact that other companies will start seeing your campaigns and you will start to build authority for yourself as an influencer. This is more important than cash upfront!
Each influencer job is something you can add to your portfolio and the actual job is worth more to you in experience than it is in money.
As work starts coming in more steadily you can start looking at revising your pricing.
Have only ever warned off others when I made a TERRIBLE purchase that either cost my pet's health, my health or cost me money.
When a vendor refunds me... I find it tough to complain. THANK YOU for your great instructions!
With Grace and Gratitude
