Why Wouldn’t I Be Able to upload videos to My WordPress?
Though you should be able to upload videos to your WordPress blog, most of the new blogs out there usually leverage shared hosting servers and most videos take much of the server resource.
Another point to note here is that your website may likely crumble if some of your videos catch lots of traffic from sites other than the WordPress white-listed services providers listed in the previous lesson. So, it's highly recommended to upload videos from sites such as Vimeo, Youtube, and the likes.
Some experts do advise that you dare not upload videos to a WordPress site, but you can if you can do that safely so far you can follow some tips suggested above for uploading your videos.

When you embed a video, you don't need to add the link (hyperlink is just the long word for it) to the video like you would text words because the link to the video is already in the embedding code.
