Elements Of Your Blog Post

Once you have a keyword, then think about 3 - 5 things you can talk about which will become the "body" of your post.

You will also have an Intro and a Conclusion or Recommendation for every post.

Now let's see how we can turn this one keyword phrase, "how to lose 10 pounds in 1 month" into a 1,000 word blog post:

INTRO

Always start your blog post with an intro which can easily be 50 - 100 words. You need to ensure your keyword is in this intro in the first paragraph would be best.

For the keyword in this example, I can write about how everyone is trying to lose weight for the summer and if they are searching on how to lose 10 pounds in 1 month, then they have come to the right place.

I will briefly hint at what methods I'll talk about in the post to lose the 10 pounds, and the frustrations that I have experienced that didn't work before and why these methods will work instead. The main thing here is brief and you don't want to give too much away.

I always end my intro with the titles of the sections that will follow, saying "I will walk you through the following sections to help you lose that 10 pounds:" then list the titles in bullet points.

Definitely add a couple of in-depth articles into your mix of shorter posts.

I would do the other way around, more longer posts and have a few shorter ones.
