Elements Of Your Blog Post

THE BODY

The next then you will start writing the body of your blog post. Remember you have to think of 3 - 5 things to say about your keyword which will make up the body of your blog post.

Let's say I pick 4 topics to write about "how to lose 10 pounds in 1 month" and each is 250 words, that's 1,000 words without the intro and conclusion. Mind you, each section doesn't have to be 250 as one section can be longer than another.

In this case, my 4 topics will go into:

1. What Is Your Relationship With Food

2. How Much Are You Exercising?

3. Your One Month Plan to Lose 10 Pounds

4. Breaking It Down By Week

Each of these topics can easily be 250 words because you can easily subtopic each of those:

1. What Is Your Relationship With Food

- Do you eat til you're full or til you're stuffed?

- Examine what you are eating, take notes for a week.

- Throw out all junk food.

- How do you feel about portions?

2. How Much Are You Exercising?

- Do you exercise? If so, how much?

- Depending if you do or not, this can affect your weight loss plan below

- Make household chores a workout session

- You got stairs, use them on purpose.

3. Your One Month Plan to Lose 10 Pounds

- Food plan in detail, talking about calories, protein, fats, etc.

- How to eat, drink and exercise to achieve the 10 pound loss.

4. Breaking It Down By Week

- Easy to follow weekly plan

- How to monitor your progress

By the time I finish this body section, this can already be 1,000 - 1,500 words, especially because section 3 and 4 can be pretty long.

I hope you can see how things can be broken down so that you can write easier when you have chunks to talk about.

Definitely add a couple of in-depth articles into your mix of shorter posts.

I would do the other way around, more longer posts and have a few shorter ones.

As long as you write consistently, you'll be good either way. :)
