7. Repurpose old Content
Repurposing old content is all about changing the form of your content while it still carries the same message. Marketers do this many times to meet the need or demand of a new audience and also to save time in content creation. Content can be repurposed from one format to another, eg from written content to infographic or video or vice versa.
To direct traffic to your landing pages, you can repurpose old content and make a mention of your landing page in the process. There numerous ways you can achieve this. You can include a giveaway gated with your landing page. It takes a little tweaking and ingenuity. Optimize the content and promote it via other channels like social media.
8. Engage online forums and Group
Do not forget to engage in forums and other online groups where you belong. Get involved in conversations. With that, you will be able to establish your brand and build authority. Then dropping your landing page and gaining traffic to it will not be difficult.
Going around groups and dropping your landing page is not the way to go. It is spamming. You will not build authority and command respect that way.
Contribute, gain authority and then engage group or forum members.
8. Thank You Page
How do you feel when someone tells you to thank you or gives other forms of appreciation when you are helpful. Same should happen with your landing pages, say thank you to those who visited your landing page and followed through to downloading or buy your product.
But here is the idea, use your thank you page to point to other content on your blog or other resources that leads to other landing pages. You can always increase your engagement.
