Group Board Applications Tracking Table
Applying to Group Boards is a tiresome and time consuming process. Each board owner has its own rules for the application. Some of the possible requirements from you might include:
- Following the board and the owner (standard requirement)
- Re-pinning several of owner's pins
- Joining a FB group
- Sending an email or a private message to the owner
- Applying on certain web page
After you follow up the instructions, you'll have to wait for approval. It may take several weeks, if you are lucky to get any answer at all.
You'd want to keep track of all the applications and re-apply if nothing happens after a long waiting time.
I recommend creating a table in Excel or other spreadsheet application with the following columns:
I don't think you'll need more explanations on the columns, the titles are pretty much self explanatory.

I also am just now venturing into the world of Pinterest. So this will be a very useful tool to utilize as I go forward.
I also am trying to use free methods of tracking my social media activities. At least for me, I have a hard time justifying spending too much until I know what I’m doing at least somewhat. Once I master manual methods, I may look into automation tools. At that point I’ll have a better idea of what my needs are.
