Once you select either "Blog Title" Or your own custom dimensions, this next steps are the same.

You will have a blank canvas, and you are going to want to choose a free layout. They are marked Free if Free.

It is entirely up to you what layout you choose and how you use the wording. You can remove all the default text by dragging it off and keep the background image, or you can use it just as it is and add your own words with their font.

You can also upload your own images to use as the background and add the text with the font you desire!

Once you create a featured image that you are satisifed with and know will catch someone's eye, you are going to want to download and save it.

Once you save it to your computer, you can insert it to your featured image section of your website.

Select it, Set it, Save it!

Hey Kenny, thank you for sharing this. I have this bookmarked. I did sign up on Canva but never used it much. I'll definitely be going back and reading this again hopefully this week and follow it thru to completion.

Once you figure it out, it is so simple and useful. Creating your own images is better than using others anyways haha!

Thank you for this.
I was so frustrated today trying to upload photos I took with my iPad. I kept getting HTTP errors.
I changed the theme, I deleted one of the plugins, I changed the photos from JPG to PDF...nothing worked.
I will try inserting my photos into this program and maybe I will get past that darn HTTP error.
Thank you for the great lesson.

Putting them though Canva first and downloading and saving them under a new file name should fix the issue.
