How To Upload a Favicon To WordPress

Some of the WordPress themes do have a feature for adding a favicon onto your WordPress website while others will need a All in One Favicon plugin to be downloaded and installed.

This is an excellent plugin, so easy to download and install, and once installed, the favicon is very easy to upload to your website.

Steps to uploading All In One Favicon Plugin

  1. Download All In One Favicon file onto your computer
  2. Upload file by going to 'Plugins', clicking on 'Add New' which will lead you to the 'Install Plugins' page, click on 'upload' as shown below and choose the file.
  3. Installed the file and once installed go to 'Settings' which is where the file will be to add the favicon.

This is very helpful. Creating a favicon adds the important little touch which shows that the site has been created in detail.

Thanks Rob! yes, it sure does add that special touch to a website. It also help me when looking up for my websites via my favourites. I just look for the icon and click on it! Makes each website stand out in their own unique way.
