So ... It's extremely simple ...

If you click the "Directory" button, you'll see a user list ... And all you have to do, is to click the "Send Message" link next to a given user:

You'll be taken to the message editor. Which is a fully featured Wordpress editor with file attachment feature included:

And a real cool feature: your users can control the direct messaging features directly from the front-end of your website by simply clicking the "Settings" button:

They can disable email notifications and announcements and they can opt-out of receiving messages from others ...

Very simple and extremely useful ...

And that's it my friends!

Thanks, Zed. This is one I may use down the road, when I have so much traffic I can't keep up with it all.

Smartketeer, your training is simply amazing! This is the first one for which I saw a need on my site and which I actually understood! It sounds fabulous, and I can't wait to try it out. It will be so handy to have everything in one place.

I thought I followed directions, but I didn't get the box you are showing above. Do I have to become a pro member to use the plugin?
Do I simply copy the [front-den-pm] or the code to my page?
Thanks,

hc

Hi Howard,

If you are talking about the above speed test results, those are coming from a separate speed testin tool. Literally speaking they have nothing to do with the plugin itself. It's a simple testing method included in all my tutorials to demonstrate that I'm not using heavy plugins that could slow down your site ...

Yes, you need to create a new page or to edit an existent one and to copy the shortcode in the exact place where you want to display the messaging system.
