1. Select your Audience
It is very important you get it right from the beginning – your audience. Who are you writing for?
The way I will write to sell the Wealthy Affiliate program to people above the age 60, who are most likely retired is different from how I will write to sell the same product to people age 25 to 40 who are most actively at work.
Writing for a target audience is essential; it is much more productive when you write for a target audience than writing for anybody. Anybody is nobody, you should ask yourself questions like: Are your audience male or female? What age range does your audience belong to? What is there location? Via what medium will they find your content? What is their specific interest?
Gaining a proper understanding of your customers will help you focus on the kind of content that is relevant
2. Write articles in your voice
When creating content, be original as much as possible; write with a touch of how you feel and communicate with your audience like humans and not like an instructor from a royal university.
People are looking out to connect with real people, as such, it is very important you show your human side. Communicating as friends is a much more effective way to communicate, you are not writing a term paper for a professor to score, concentrate less on the APA, Harvard or MLA format that you learned in school.
A good way to test your write up, is by listening to it yourself. You can read, get someone else to read to you or record it and listen to it over and over.
All product reviews are based on my personal experience with the item in question. I realize that this slant is not always in reach of many that may not have many personal experience or expertise within their niches.
